Alexandra Park Bowling ClubNice to see that the fencing work around one half of both greens has been completed, hopefully this will go some way to keeping dogs/cyclists off the greens. Complete enclosure should be possible when further funding is available.
Secondly, we now have replacement shutters on the small pavilion, this should provide better security and improve the appearance of the building. Who has the keys to open them?.
APBC C team were runners up in this years 5 a side competition. The team of Bill, Mary, Trish, Graham and Ricky are shown above with Captain Les and Vice Captain John on finals day at Padgate BC.. The prize money was picked up at this years League presentation afternoon at GexSM in early December 2024.
Thanks to the organisers of this years lunch at Warrington Golf Club on 20th December, I thought the food and service were excellent. Looks like we will be there next year!.
